Our story
Buying property in Australia is the largest financial decision most people make, yet finding a trustworthy buyer’s agent has remained stubbornly opaque. Search results have been dominated by paid lead-generation networks, fake reviews and out-of-area agents bidding to be seen.
AI search is changing that. When buyers ask ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google AI Overviews for a buyer’s agent, the answers come from a small set of platforms whose data those systems can actually parse and trust. We built TopBuyers to be one of them — and to bring every listed Australian buyer’s agent along with us.
How we built TopBuyers for AI search
Every profile, suburb report and FAQ on TopBuyers is engineered with RealEstateAgent, FAQPage, Article and Place structured data — the exact signals AI search systems use to pick which sources to cite.
Agent data is imported from public sources (Google Business profiles, agency websites, public real-estate listings) and verified before publication. Reviews are imported from Google with attribution preserved — never invented. Suburb numbers come from Australian Bureau of Statistics, Domain and realestate.com.au public suburb profiles.
The result: every listing on TopBuyers ships with structured data validated in Google’s Rich Results Test, ready for AI assistants to read, parse and cite.

Is TopBuyers free for buyers?
Yes. Searching, comparing and enquiring with buyer’s agents on TopBuyers is completely free for property buyers and investors. We’re paid by agents who upgrade to a Featured listing — the buyer never pays us.
You’re new — how do I know I can trust TopBuyers?
We’re upfront about being new — fake testimonials destroy trust faster than no testimonials. Instead, we publish our methodology, our data sources, and a list of six things we will never do (see above). As real listings, real Google reviews and verified market data come in, you’ll see them appear — attributed, dated, unaltered. Until then, judge us on the standards we hold ourselves to publicly.
How are buyer’s agents verified?
Agent profiles are imported from verified public sources (Google Business profiles, agency websites, real-estate listings) with reviews pulled from Google. When an agent claims their listing, we verify ownership of the business email before granting dashboard access.
How do you help agents get found by AI search?
Every TopBuyers listing automatically ships with RealEstateAgent schema, FAQPage markup, aggregateRating and Review structured data, Speakable specifications for voice assistants, and a content layer designed for AI citation. Agents get this for free as part of their listing — no schema knowledge required.
How does TopBuyers make money?
Featured-listing upgrades for agents who want priority placement and a Book-a-Meeting button. We do not take referral commissions and do not sell buyer details to third parties.
Are you affiliated with any specific agency?
No. TopBuyers is an independent platform. We don’t own, operate or have equity in any buyer’s agency. Every agent is listed on the same terms.
How do I report an issue with a listing?
Every profile has a “Report this listing” link at the bottom, or email us at hello@topbuyers.com.au. We review every report within one business day.
