Very impressive attention to detail - after leaving apartment thoroughly cleaned and in very good condition after a two - year tenancy, a few tiny cosmetic marks somehow became a $176 bond deduction. The photo speak for themselves. This was not substantial property damage, yet these were the issues used to deduct from the bond. I offered $100 to settle the matter reasonably after seeing the quote. I accept the tenant should pay for the genuine damage they cause, but proportionality and some touch of perspective - would have gone a long way. If you rent through this agent/Owner, my advice is simple: photograph absolutely everything — every wall corner, door frame and tiny dot mark in the ceiling too - treat the condition report like forensic evidence. I paid and moved on. The amount wasn't the main issue- the approach was. A little common sense and goodwill would have made experience better.
