Unicorn Buyers Agents is a Sydney buyer’s agency, established in 2019, that helps first home buyers, families, investors, downsizers and expats find and secure residential property across Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, Inner West and North Shore. Led by licensed buyers agent and Licensee-in-Charge Dan Sofo, the agency has purchased more than 250 properties with a combined value exceeding $500 million, with 72 per cent of those acquisitions secured off-market or pre-auction.

The agency operates exclusively in the buyer’s interest, combining industry-grade research tools, honest price intelligence built from comparable sales and auction results, and an established agent network that gives clients access to properties that never reach public listing. The agency’s core markets are Sydney’s inner ring suburbs, which principal Dan Sofo knows block by block through thousands of personal inspections and hundreds of completed purchases. In the Eastern Suburbs, the agency regularly acquires property in Woollahra, Paddington, Double Bay, Rose Bay, Bellevue Hill, Bondi, Coogee, Randwick and Potts Point. Dan Sofo holds a full NSW real estate licence and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business. He is an accredited member of both PIPA (Property Investment Professionals of Australia) and REBAA (Real Estate Buyers Agents Association of Australia), Australia’s peak professional bodies for buyers agents. Before founding Unicorn Buyers Agents, Sofo spent fifteen years in hospitality, owning and operating a business with more than 80 staff and $7 million in annual turnover — experience he credits for his negotiation approach and relationship-building methodology. He has appeared as a property commentator on Sky News and Network 10’s Studio 10, and has been quoted in the Sydney Morning Herald.
